Meandering

Every once in a while I get up a bit early (yes, I am sometimes capable of getting up early), leave behind my beloved bike and take a walk from place to place. I like this occasional change of pace because it gives me time to discover something I might otherwise have missed.

The images below are in no particular order and, while some locations will be quite obvious, I purposely left out descriptions so they can be discovered by the viewer who can then make up their own story and meander in their own, virtual, way.

Shades of Green and Brown

View all the way to the East Bay

Growing up in Connecticut, I went on a lot of walks through the woods. With it's crisp fresh air and wide array of colors, no time was better for these walks than autumn.

The Bay Area has had plenty of crisp, cool days lately so, on Sunday I gathered 2 of my favorite people and went for a hike. We headed off to Mt. Tamalpais. Everything was green and brown instead of the New England color palette but it was beautiful and fairytale-esque none-the-less. Here's a sampling of what we saw.
