Gathering Sunsets

I've got an idea for a new book project which involves collecting sunsets...well, photos of sunsets, to be exact. It will be quite a while before the project is ready for the next steps but I thought I would share some of the first sunset images I took.

From the Air

I love taking pictures from the windows of aeroplanes. There's something about not knowing whether the view is from coming or going. On our trip to Colorado, we flew over the Sierras and the Rockies. From the air, these could be mountains anywhere. I love all the potential stories you can make up from the ambiguity in photos taken from above.

Images from the Constitution State

Roadside daisies

Here is the last round-up of images from my trip east. All of these images are from northwestern Connecticut.

I spent a lot of time with my niece, which was really fun. She's only 2 though, and doesn't like to sit still for pictures.

The clouds seemed so different, I guess because they are not fog clouds, which is what I usually see on this coast.

Clouds

I've been back home for a little over a week, but right after I returned from my East Coast adventures I got sick, oh, and I moved across the Bay to Berkeley, so I've been a bit quiet (and busy) lately. I'm recovering from my cold, and most of the boxes are unpacked so here is the first round of photos from my trip; some clouds from cruising altitudes (and one from the ground).
