A Walk Around the Lake

Today was one of those rare days when I didn't work and had absolutely no plans or obligations of any kind. So, I took a walk all the way around Lake Merritt in Oakland. Here are some of the images I took along the way.

Botanical Gardens

Last Sunday we decided to go for a walk in the sunshine at the Regional Parks Botanical Garden. It wasn't the best day for flower viewing, it's technically still winter and, despite the warmth, not much is growing yet but, I was still able to enjoy the scenery.
